Hall
was
constructed
in
1886
and
renovated
in
1971
as
an
academic
building.
It
houses
the
College
of
Liberal
Arts
and
was
named
for
the
former
college
president
General
William
Henry
Harrison
Beadle
who
initiated
many
changes
for
education
in
the
Midwest.
Beadle
Hall
is
also
the
oldest
building
in
South
Dakota
to
be
continuously
used
for
its
original
purpose,
teaching
classes.
